Community Support
We've just set up help.mapstory.org to enable community-based technical assistance. If you've got any problem on MapStory please report it there. And if you're an experienced MapStoryTeller we'd love your help assisting others on the help site.

Resources for Journalists

As a journalist, you work hard and oftentimes under great personal risk, to follow Pulitzer's dictum to "illuminate dark places and interpret these troubled times." In this digital era, our dark places often lie in the data, and it is up to you to clarify themes and visualize data-based phenomena for the general public. At MapStory, we hope to make your job easier by providing a place where you can draw upon the spatial-temporal data of others for your work, and to produce your own StoryLayers and MapStories that can in-turn be embedded in your own publications. We believe in your work and are here to help!

Why is this important?
