Cool and elegant.
Drawback: It took a while to realize that the first part of the story happens outside of the default extent.
If you could cause the map to start up so the start of the story is visible, it would be less confusing.
Idea of lesser note: while it would take away some of the elegance of the story, it might be cool to be able to pause the playback and click on something to see what happened to Marco in that place.
